Finally, someone did it!
Rode hit the jackpot when they decided to make this microphone! The quality of the legendary Rode NT1 and at the same time can be used as a USB microphone for example for writing demos or for streaming! This is genius! I can take it with me on the road and now I don't need an audio interface that takes up space and can get damaged.

Another Winner from Rode
Bought this to replace my elderly and now dead Rode NT1-A. Ordered and it arrived to my house in the Scottish Highlands (But still Mainland UK) very quickly.
Opened the box and everything was packed extremely well, with no possibility of any sort of damage.
Needed this in the studio, and tried it out and it sounds a little better than the NT1-A. Having the included shock mount was a bonus, and it has certainly changed from earlier ones, this one seems to eliminate more vibrations from the mic stand.
The Mic is definately worth the money paid.
Then we have the bonus of being able to plug in the INCLUDED USB-C cable into the Mic and my MacBook, and use it without an audio interface, meaning if I want to quickly sketch a song while I am out and about, I have one less item (audio interface) to carry with me. Perfect.
Looking for a capable Mic for singing, cab miking, or even overheads? This may be the microphone for you.

Great microphone.
I use this microphone for Zoom meetings via the USB cable connected to my MacBook. It works perfectly well, but you need to add acoustic treatment to your room to eliminate echo, because this is a condenser and it is pretty sensitive to noise, which is not a problem if the room was treated.

The Best Quality Microphone
This is one of the best microphones I have ever tried! The sound quality is just great. You know, RODE has its own spice. For me what is more convenient is the type-c connection. It makes the work so easy when I am on a minimal setup to just take my laptop and the mic and record anywhere with a studio high-quality sound! I do not regret it!

As expected for home studio
My review covers only home studio usage, which is what i expected after reading and watching a ton of reviews. The sound is crystal clear, i have used it for male, female, and kids vocals in an untreated home studio space, and it performed like professional equipment, showing that it is worth every cent of its price. Including the usb‑c connection as an extra clearly gives it additional value, even for podcasters. After some tests, i found that i only had to fine‑tune small portions through the mixer, as the microphone itself managed to capture enough mids and highs from each voice, whether singing, speaking, or rapping, without issues, producing a marvelous, high‑quality final recording.

Excellent for home studio and rehearsals
This is one of the best quality/price ration product I have ever acquired. I use it to record at home (via PC, Yamaha AG06 in Reaper) and it produces great sound. I also use it for rehearsals at my place and singers love it. It is versatile and sturdy but I prefer not to use it for gigs (for that I use M1S and Shure SM58).
