Overall, I like this mic for its versatility. It’s very easy to use on the go, and my main use case is plugging it directly into my iPhone when I record music videos. It’s packed with features and compatible with many iPhone apps.
However, I can’t give it 5 stars because, unfortunately, the sound quality isn’t quite good enough. When I bought it, I expected to use it both on the go and in the studio, but after recording vocals, I quickly noticed that the sound was noticeably inferior to my main studio mic, the Behringer B2. It sounds less bright and a bit flatter.
Still, I appreciate how convenient it is for blogging and video recording.

Rode is a spectacular brand...
Rode is a great brand... even for its "entry level" products. This microphone is practical and has great sound. I don't see any alternative with better quality in this price range.
