Well engineered and classical
My handmade guitar has suffered the indignity of having cheap tuning machines fitted. This was largely due to a budget issue and I had resolved to upgrade them. After a lot of research I decided that, rather that spend a good deal more, I would give these a try. They are perfect. Their action is smooth and, after having fitted them a month ago, they do not slip. Also they look like more expensive ones.
The only negative comment is that one of the fitting screws had a defective head ,but that was easily rectified.
In summary, they perform well, look great and are good value

lovely and worth every penny
I bought a medium-priced nylon string guitar and, although everything else was good, the machine heads were rubbish, so I took a chance with these guys. Wow, they are a massive jump in quality! Great build, nice smooth action, they keep tune and look lovely - what else do you need? Recommend, well worth investing in!

The finishing touch!
Wow! I love the quality and the look & feel of these tuners. I replaced my old ones on a classical guitar, and regret not doing this a couple years ago! What a difference it makes. Not only pleasant for the eyes, but they also do exactly what they are supposed to do. Would highly recommend.

Nice quality tuners
Bought these for a classical guitar I was building.
Would prefer a nickel set but these are the only colour available. Still, they look great on the guitar and functionality is perfect. Very good for the money!

The upgrade I have been looking for.
I needed to replace the very old original tuners and after some research decided to go with this set.
They were easy to install, look great on the guitar and work like a charm.
For those who want to save money on tuners, please don't.
This set is very robust, excellent materials and price quality more than fair.
My only regret is that I should have done this long, long time ago.

Well-engineered.
Quality heads that perform well, feel good and seem stable. They are perhaps a little too ornate, but the ebony buttons create an elegant, pleasing visual. They might benefit from a little more tension on the peg, but they are smooth and positive, with no play or vibration.
They are a standard Hauser design; ease of fitting is really dependent on your guitar - I had to ream the headstock slightly as the original rollers were a slightly narrower diameter; two extra screw-holes were also required. They now fit perfectly, with nothing visual to suggest they are replacements.
Recommended.

Yamaha AEX500N-2
I had some problems with my old Machine head set, so I decided to buy a new one. This specific model fits good with my Yamaha AEX500N-2 I did just a couple of holes to place 2 of the 6 screws that this item needs to be set. Anyway, the old holes are hidden so no problem for the esthetic of your guitar.

reliable tuners
heavy, sturdy and good looking tuners, the mechanism is really smooth even with no grase on. The only problem: the teflon shafts where not perfecly parallel to each other, but with a little force while inserting them they got perfect in a matter of a few turns. A bit expensive, not worth for a cheap guitar
