Good quality but installation was a bit confusing at first
Theses clips let you connect a second pen small diaphragm mic on top of another in order to do MS recordings.
I’m using it with a Shure beta bi directional mic and an Audio Technica cardioid mic, both condensers mics.
Nothing comes with the clips so it was a bit confusing how to install it, but I figured out quickly that the clips have to be connected on both mics, the lower one will help to support the top one. Once everything installed well, it looks pretty sturdy, no weird vibrations in there it’s good quality.
Overall it’s a good experience but I wish Rycote could give at least a QR code on the box that point to the manual online.
I recommend this and Thomann was fast as usual.

good MS clips for small tryouts and light MS work
I've had these clips now a few years, and use them occasionally. they still hold the mics very well. They are perfect for trying out some MS work (I used them with Sennheiser MKH mics) either on a stand, or in a blimp you already have. (I use mine in a Rode blimp MkII)
If you really are out in the field, running and gunning for sounds, or on a somewhat more extended field recording trip, I would however choose for a more dedicated MS suspension that goes with your blimp, to make sure the mic stays in the correct position. However, I've had had no problems so far.

For mid/side recording
I used this clip for mid/side recording with a shotgun mic and an oktava figure of 8 microphones. It is durable, it supports the weight of the microphone (do not shake it too much though!) and offers a light mount for outdoor use.

Does the job very well
The clips have lasted me 3 years now, without any signs of wear, still VERY grippy, just makes sure to keep an eye on the rubber bands attached and they can slip off!

Many uses.
Like all Rycote products, these are well designed and manufactured. The plastic used is reassuringly stiff and the inner surface is lined with rubber so they grip microphones securely and resit shifting, even without using the little rubber loops that are intended to pull the clips together to secure them even more firmly.
I have used these with various pencil microphones, including the Sennheiser MKH00 and MKH8000 series microphones, for MS and even double MS, although the latter was slightly precarious though serviceable for a few tests.
Given the quality, the price is reasonable.

Excellent quality!
Excellent material quality. The microphone mount is strong, flexible and reliable, which allows you not to worry about your microphone setup in the middle of the windshield. Now I can experiment and create my own ambisonic system for sound design)

I can share my good opinion about this product. It's exactly what I needed for my M-S Setup. I like the quality and it's perfect for usage of pencil microphones.

just plastic clips
nothing more fancy, but you really need it if you want to build a good ms rig, using some sennheiser MKH mics.
