Great sounding long lasting strings
Apinto 15.05.2019
I use these strings as a manouche rhythm guitarist, I have long gigs only strumming and hitting hard on them when playing fast rhythms. The strings are very good, the dynamics, the response and the elasticity make these the best strings for manouche/gipsy jazz playing.

Argentine strings are the strings for manouche guitars
DjangoReincarnated 11.05.2023
Argentine strings are my go-to strings for manouche and other acoustic jazz guitars, but because of the nickel wound, they also have good electrical conductivity for archtops because I'm so used to the comfortable playability and bendability of these strings. They can last quite a well as well and they are well worth the price.

These are wonderfully bright gypsy-style strings, the kind that Django would use. These are NOT for an acoustic if you are playing mostly folk, rock, or genres of that sort -they have a lot of high-end & are very "trebley", as suited for gypsy & other styles of music. Highly recommended for guitarists who play this style of music, as it's difficult to find these types of strings amongst all the standard-style acoustic steel's these days. These strings have a really vintage tone, likened to all the recordings from the 30s & 40s. Would definitely recommend these, as well as Thomann's excellent customer service!

Only for gypsy jazz players
Anonymous 25.09.2016
Do not buy this if you are looking for a full bassy sound with lots of body. These strings are perfect for a gypsy jazz player, but might be too bright if you are looking for a fuller sound

I'm not a gypsy jazz player but I buy these strings and will continue to do it in future. They make my guitar sing. I don't need any others.

Great flexibility
macaferri 02.02.2024
I am always in two minds about these strings , i love how they feel and sound , they are flexible and bending strings is easy with these. My only gripe is they can go dull very quickly , like within a week. Sometimes they can break within a week or two also but i suppose it depends on how hard and much you are playing. Overall , i am a fan.

J
THE Gypsy Jazz Strings
Jed 11.02.2016
I've tried a few different gypsy jazz strings and these seem the best value for quality.

They're crisp and last a long time! There's a couple cheaper brands that are good, but the Savarez ones seem to have that better gypsy jazz "snap" sound.

So if you want to play Gypsy jazz, getting some gypsy style strings is essential!

Klasszikus gypsy húr.
Anonymous 18.03.2016
Nincs mit mondani, nincs kifogásolható rész. G húrt érdemes hozzá készletenként egy pluszt venni, de ez minden hasonló húrra igaz.
