So I was looking for a bass with fluence pickups on it because I loved them on my 6 string evil twin electric guitar and I stumbled upon this bass by accident and got excited!
The sound options are great in my opinion, I think having a mid EQ knob would have made it 5 stars for me in the features category because I think it's a very versatile bass and it can get u a lot of sounds, maybe not very old school ones but nothing extra EQ can't fix!
Quality, I learned to appreciate Schecter quality with time, the don't mess around I think and even if it's not made in CA they do make sure it's up to standards! It came without any issues with the finish, the hardware they r using is usually great, even when they r using their own branded things and it feels good to play and feels great in the hand.
One thing that I deducted one star for is that resting ur hand on the bass when ur sitting can get a bit uncomfortable sometimes because of the angle of the edge where u rest ur arm on, i think it's not rounded enough, but that can b easily solved by u moving a bit or putting something on it that will make it softer.
In total, I think it's a strong 4 stars, not perfect but great! and of course the inspection and setup that thomann did before sending is ideal for me, they guessed it right :) low action, intonation was great, new strings of course, and the packaging was great and survived the trip from Germany.
I was actually a bit worried about the delivery and such, not because of Thomann but mainly because of UPS but I'm glad it all worked out great :)
