Well made. Lightweight and sturdy, with nice crisp tones. I use this a lot in gigs, and it works very well. The sound, tone, is quite comparable to the traditional, skin bongos; but don't expect it to sound exactly like them. Nice low price, for a good quality instrument to add to your gear. I recommend it.

Diese hervorragend gearbeiteten Holz-Bongos sind wunderbar handlich und für meine Zwecke sehr vielseitig einsetzbar und bespielbar (mit den Händen, (Kunststoff)Besen und Filzklöppel) . . . überall kann man draufhauen und auch meine Kinder haben eine riesen Gaudi ohne dass man gleich um die Dinger bangen muss. Der Klang ist recht trocken, es lassen sich aber durchaus unterschiedliche Sounds und Sweet-Spots finden.
Ein ernsthafter "Bongomaniac" wird jedoch gewiss zu anderen "ernsthaften" Bongos greifen und diese hier bestenfalls als Nischenboxen betrachten. Der Preis ist in Ordnung, hübsch sind sie auch, finde ich, ich mag halt Holz recht gern.

Viel hatte ich nicht erwartet für knappe 50 €. Entsprechen schmalbrüstig ist der Sound (Volumen) der kleinen Holztrommeln. Aber die Bongos sind schlagwerkmäßig gut verarbeitet und der Schlagfläche kann man überraschend unterschiedliche Töne entlocken. Fazit: nette Ergänzung der Perkussionsinstrumente, gut geeignet für kleine Wohnzimmersessions, bei denen man für jeden ein Instrument braucht (da stört auch nicht die geringe Lautstärke :).
