Bang for the buck
If you want to do something with an average budget, these guys are perfect. They are factory matched, not compared with tests like KM184s and other high-end instrument mics. For mine, there are a small difference around 3k (with cardioid capsules) which can be compansated easily with an EQ but these capsules (omni ones) are like same with each other.
I have compared them with DPA's. DPA's a bit softer in a good way and of course have almost no signal-to-noise. SE's have a tiny background noise with them but considering them with a quarter of price (maybe less) makine these guys are a good friend.
I use them with classical recordings plugged into Focusrite 18i20's and they just work fine. No complainments are received.

Omni capsules are never truly omni (unless you go exotic with PZMs or stuff like that). You can hardly avoid directionality in high frequencies.
These ones are not worse in that regard than what I'm used to, while other budget brands were.
In case my language seems ambiguous, let me summarize: it's good.
