Seymour Duncan Saturday Night Special Set ZEB

I put these in a Les Paul Custom the neck was muddy and muffled with distortion but i thought the bridge was ok until I changed it. These pickups are clear as a bell, they sparkle. There is no loss of clarity with distortion. The tone controls have way more effect than with the stock pickups. I knocked one star off as they are slightly more noisy (but this may be because of the open bobbins, covered pups may be better. They appear very sensitive to string height and are set a little lower than the stock ones it's probably down to personal preference.
It was a bit of a gamble buying these but it certainly paid off. Well done to Thomann for a great buying experience.
