Nice pickup overall.
nice amount of treble which is what I was after.
I wanted this so that I could get a bit more sustain from my tele and now I do, also to have more twang because I had very cheap pickups to start with.
The main thing I had trouble with was the installation. It's a fair bit larger than the standard pickup my guitar started with so it was difficult to get into the slot. unknowingly when trying to persuade it in there I managed to break a very fine piece of wire and wondered for ages why the pickup wasn't working. Got someone to fix it for me but was a faff. Just be aware of that when installing it and you shouldn't have a problem :-)

Fantastic pickup
I have installed this pickup in one of my Teles and it has become my number one guitar. I bought this pickup a while ago now and have been using it for over a year. It never disappoints.
It sounds great in clean, but best with overdrive and this pickup can easily handle lightly overdriven blues tones all the way to very driven hard rock.
I definitely recommend this pickup to anyone wanting to take their Tele or T-type guitar into the realms of heavier music without straying too far from what a Tele does best.

Bought it for esquire build.
I bought this after some internet researching for a esquire build.
It sounds really nice but not for Esquire I ended up changing it but put this into a mexico tele and there is really shines trough.
For this prize, it is definitely first pick for a tele upgrade.
I think it might be little larger than the standard fender single coil, It didn't seem to fit in the same screw pattern, but easy enough to work around.
I would buy this again.

Great modern Tele sound
I paired this bridge pickup up with the matching Quarter Pound neck pickup, it's got a great clean tone as you'd expect from a Tele. When you add drive to your amp it can really snarl like a humbucker. It's the best of both worlds for me, nice and clean on the clean channel, aggressive when it's driven!

Great variant of tele pickup
Bought this pickup to beef up my Fender CIJ '72 Telecaster Custom bridge pickup, which I feels was a bit thin. Not only this pickup beef up the tone, it also add a slightly more output but at the same time still retains the tele twang. You can go from nice jangly clean to classic rock overdrive.

Used in an Aluminium Telecaster
We used this SD pickup in our Drewman DT T type aluminium Telecaster, it's a punchy little pickup poducing the classic tones you'd expect from this great brand. Other review on Thomann helped us choose so we thought we confirm..... this is a great bridge pickup for any telecaster.
