The Real Deal
I have always used a wireless Shure 58 system but it was time to renew,
The BLXR delivers and I am very happy with it, no drop outs since the beginning of Feb 2014 and is racked up nice for plenty of future use. Highly recommended

I have been in the DJ business for many years and, until this summer, I was using a very good AKG wireless microphone operating on 2.4 GHz. It served me extremely well, but these days the 2.4 GHz band is simply too busy. I started experiencing clicks, pops, dropouts and various other interference issues.
So this summer I bought the Shure BLX24R/SM58 S8, and after using it throughout the entire season, I can honestly say: WOW.
I have used it at weddings, parties and all kinds of events, and it has been absolutely flawless. The simplicity is fantastic. Give the microphone to a client and there is literally one button: click, it’s on; click, it’s off. No explanations, no confusion.
Just last night, we used it for a well-known singer to perform a song, and afterwards the musicians used the same microphone in front of a brass instrument. It handled everything perfectly.
I also use it together with my anti-feedback system, and this combination has made my life as a DJ so much easier.
This microphone has completely solved my wireless microphone problems. I am already planning to buy a second one.
Shure. Period. Nothing else.
