VERY dark tone...
These cables will rolloff your upper frequency response DRASTICALLY, which is especially noticeable if you're using singlecoil guitars with a lot of presence and/or twang (Jazzmasters, Teles, Jaguars). I'm using a lot of high end cables (Vovox, Evidence Audio, Van Damme, Lava, Sommer Spirit XXL, Fishman Asterope etc.) and these are at the very bottom for me. The build is sturdy, the jacks are of high quality and cable wrapping is easy due to great flexibility. But the impact on my tone is simply too great. I've bumped them to footswitch duty (connecting footswitches to amps) for that very reason.

Sommer Cable Classique 6m
You would think the same cable only 3m longer would sound at least similar - not a chance! I understand the longer the cable to more resistance etc but this is not the problem. The 3m is so open sounding - like you aren't loosing a single db when strumming the guitar - just full, raw, powerful notes direct out of your amp. The new cable feels like the same material on the outside but I immediately noticed the diameter of the cable is smaller. Of course, smaller meaning much more flexible but I would choose better tone over flexibility any day!
