Sommer Cable SC Stage 22 Highflex Ye

This IS a cable, really. Even though it is not too thick, was pretty hard to cut through the external casing, and the hot and cold plastics were pretty sturdy too... All these features show that this cable is made for the purpose of its name: stage and live environments.
The soldering is pretty easy and straightforward (I used some Neutrik connectors) and everything looks really heavy duty made.
So yes: really recommended!

The Sommer Cable SC Stage 22 Highflex Ye is a solid but simultaneously very flexible microphone cable. Because of its flexibility (un)wrapping is very comfortable without getting any knots. The cable is available in different colors to mark different lengths or purposes. Soldering works fine. It can be used not only in (home) studio situations, but also on stage (bands on tour etc.). Really my favorite cable!

Sturdy, pliable - able to go around tight corners, good shielding (although we practice underground so no way of knowing how they work above ground;) easy to work with, good sound for practice place with fairly cheap powered speakers, it is a good price/performance cable. Wanted a red colour but yellow is cool as well, to keep the cables visible among other cables.

I use this cable for my monitors. Flexibility allows you to place the cable at any angle I need without the risk of a crease. And the bright color just pleases the eye and goes well with my KRK.

I have just recabled my homestudio with these cables, upgrading from the cheapest ones I could find a couple years ago, and the difference, although of course subtle, is very noticeable.

This cable feels a lot nicer than the cheaper cable that I've bought in the past. The colour is a pleasant shade of yellow. Easy to work with.

In my opinion the best all-round cable available. Very flexible and nice to solder. Also love the fact that there are a few different colour options.
