It IS a Jaguar 😉

I can only compare this to my CV Jag, which is unfair. This is its own 'beast'. No quality issues, the neck is a nice satin finish. The fretboard is comfortable and takes Dunlop fretboard treatment, after which, it feels fine. No sharp frets, in fact no issues of any kind. I did re-string it with 10's which have made a positive difference to both sound and playability (for me). The pickups are bright, but not ice-pick like. It is possible to get a nice jangly-Jag sound even without the strangle switch. I don't miss the rhythm circuit. The trem/whammy bar fit and function are very good (same parts as fitted to the CV Jag). Much more logical position of the pickup toggle switch to that on the Fender player ii Jaguar. A very easy to play instrument at a very affordable price (£205 when I bought mine). No doubt many of these will be 'modded' & I can see why. Under the pickguard, there is a large enough route to take humbuckers, rails or lipsticks etc. there is no route for a rhythm circuit.

Nie habe ich so viel kritische Kommentare im Netz gelesen und gehört, wie zu dieser Gitarre. Es handelt sich um einen Nachbau der Fender Player II Jaguar. Squier ist bekanntlich eine Tochter von Fender und darf bekannte Fender Originale in Lizenz nachbauen.

Was wurde nicht alles diskutiert:

Es sei ja eigentlich keine richtige Jaguar, weil ....
Kritisiert wurde die Brücke mit der angeblich abspringenden tiefen E-Seite, die Single Coils und natürlich die Tatsache, dass sie als Jaguar keinen Dual-Circuit hat.

Nun, Puristen sollen dann halt mit der Squier CV 70s Jaguar glücklich werden. Dann kriegen Sie die Fender Designed AlNiCo Single Coils und die anfälligere Elektronik. Und wenn das immer noch nicht reicht, können Sie ja die Fender Vintera II 70s Jaguar kaufen. Das Original von Fender.

Aber zurück zur Squier Affinity Jaguar.
Sie ist wirklich gut verarbeitet und man muss nicht großartig nacharbeiten.
Sie hat einen 3 Wege Schalter und zwei Potis für Lautstärke und Klang.
Der Klang ist wirklich cool und klingt sehr kernig. Auf jeden Falls anders als eine Strat. Der Unterschied der beide Coils ist sehr deutlich. An der Brücke sehr hell und am Steg deutlich dunkler. Und außerdem ist Sie eine echte Schönheit (Sunburst) . Wirklich zum Niederknien.

Und die tiefe E-Seite ist auch noch nicht abgesprungen. Das passiert auch nicht, wenn die Seite unter Spannung ist, also gestimmt ist.

délai sous 1 a 2 semaines.ok respecté. La guitare:
alors là belle surprise!! super guitare, manche super agréable, finition rien a redire. Micros acceptable pour le prix, j'ai tout essayé du red hot en clean, du AC/DC en disto, du blues et même de la bossa, et ben ca marche!!!! le seul petit bémol c'est de changer les cordes direct et a partir de là c'est bon. En résumé qualité prix imbattable.

J'ai déjà possédé plusieurs guitares Squier, strat 60 CV telecaster John 5 Jazzmaster 40th Anniversary et une supersonic, et elles étaient toutes presque parfaites. Après de bonnes critiques sur le Net, je ai acheté cette Jaguar. Si l'aspect général semblait bien, elle était injouable malgré quelques réglages tentés. Je ne l'ai pas conservée.
