Upgraded from an old no-brand practice mute. Really impressed by this and so are other people who see me using it. If I'm in a room with doors closed, someone outside the room has no idea I'm playing my horn with this in. Even stood near me people don't hear it much and non-trumpeters get properly surprised.

I hear it more, I think because I'm touching the horn, and for me the sound quality is pretty good. Lowest few notes and low C# distort a bit but it's bearable. Back pressure is noticeable but not too bad, I can comfortably do 15-20 minutes with this in and stay relaxed and good form.

Ich hab mir seinerzeit (vor 30+ Jahren...) den ersten Sssshhhhh-Mute gekauft und spiel ihn immer noch (bzw. nach langer Pause jetzt wieder) - fabelhafter Übungsdämpfer, der beste, den ich kenne. Leise, leicht, robust, angenehmer Widerstand, tadellose Intonation, Pedaltöne kein Problem... Jetzt war ich auf die aktuelle Version neugierig - das Original ist kegelförmig, der neue ein bissl bauchiger. Also wenn es einen Unterschied gibt, dann dass der aktuelle vielleicht eine Spur leichter anspricht und die Töne noch ein wenig besser "einrasten". Vorbehaltlose Empfehlung, heute wie damals!
