The reason I bought two of these was the combination of the excellent price and 3 year warranty. I have had my af-180's for about 6 months now and they still work but they do have some faults one being that sometimes the heat up timer for the fluid can mess up meaning that it squirts out oily fluid that is sticky. I have also noticed that one of my smoke machines sprays smoke at an angle which is because when it arrives the nozel was bent. I would still say that these smoke machines are a reliable product and for the price, warranty, dmx capabilities and great service from thomann I would recommend buying them as a great affect for your setup (keep in mind they won't work in places with smoke sensitive fire alarms). Works well with "stairville Fast Fluid".

Very good fogger, but needs own technical adjustment for 100% run.
Was necessarily technical adjustment. I had to install stronger pressure pump, cause fog was omitted. After thet, is everything great. But it was frustrating start with fogger :) I make 2 reclamations and evrytime was same problem with fogger.

Great machine!
I use these vertical smoke machines for 8+ years, never had any issue, little maintenance. Great effect in small and even big venues.

I believe there's a technical flaw in this machine. Along with the fog a small droplets of fluid come out of the fuse. The steam blow is very weak and starts very slowly. I don't recomend this machine to anyone. I bought two and returned them the next day, because I found them to be completely useless. I even had to pay the expenses for the return.

Nice machine with good output.
What i like best is that the LEDs can light also when smoke is not produced lighting up the raising cloud.
That is a feature tha some more expensive machines have forgot.

Nice effect smoke machine
Output and light are ok. Looks very nice. I bought 2 of these and the other was spitting out smoke fluid. It was fixed by Thomann (adjustment of temperature sensor) and now it works again.

perfect for those explosive moments.
great colours, great fog height, only downside is if left on a timer it does use an incredible amount of fluid.

Great machine for this price
Used it as a 'flame' effect for a television project and it's a great deal. Smoke gets out quick en reaches about 2 meters of height. I used the fast fog fluid, so it also dissolves really quick.
One machine has some problems with completely turning the fluid into fog; some kind of sticky residu is coming out. But I figured out that if you allow the machine enough time to warm; this is not often a problem.
