Stairville Stage Tape 400BK

It does perfectly fixing on stage cables, to fix them to the stage floor to avoid a mess. Also it useful for other purposes when you need to attach some cable to stand or just fix temporarily something. Not leaving glue on surfaces is a really good feature.

I like that you can remove the outer ring of packaging but keep the top and bottom parts on, so that the roll of tape does not get stuck to the surface it's sitting on. It peels away from the roll easily, and doesn't leave a residue as far as I can tell (though I'm sure that depends on the length of time you leave it, and the surface type and environmental conditions etc...) This is good tape for gigging purposes, though I like to have white tape as well as it's handy for health and safety marking.

Makes the job and it's super easy to cut with hands, but leaves residues in my audio cables and I've stopped using it and upgraded to another one for that purpose. But it sticks really good and for the price it's a good deal.

This tape isn't very sticky and loses adhesion all by itself after a while, so it can't be relied upon to actually hold down the things you tape to the stage. It loves sticking to skin and it especially loves sticking to itself, but it doesn't seem to want to stick to anything else. The only reason I gave this thing a 1 star rating is because I couldn't give it 0 star rating.

Avoid this and get some proper gaffer's tape.

Does its job, rips easily, sticks to surfaces well
Does not stick well to skin. All together a good product.

I have tried some and never found one as good as this one. I'm not even considering getting another one from my country. From now on, whenever I make an order of something on Thomann, I will order one of these!
Doesn't tear, sticks to dusty or sandy surfaces. A simple hand wipe is enough for it to stick. Rugged surfaces aswell.

Well, it's Gaffa. The sticky kind.

Great gaffer tape, really top quality. Don’t leave it on for too long (ie, several months) or it can tear the surface. Otherwise if used as recommended, it’s great.

If you are looking for a tape with strong glue look no further. Really strong tape both in terms of the tapes integrity itself and the glue. Just be careful, it takes with it paint when you rip it off ;)
