Good first compressor
I bought it to use with both guitar and bass and I'm satisfied with how it works on both since it is a good 3-band compressor. The only downside I found is the Toneprint app. I had trouble connecting and editing, both with my computer and phone. After many attempts and different devices, I finally made it work but with a borrowed computer. After being able to connect, it worked well, but now I will always have to borrow a computer to use it properly.

Good compressor
I'll admit that I haven't used a lot of compressor pedals, so feel free to bear that in mind. This pedal is great quality, and as I have found with this TC range in general, is a well designed pedal. Switchable between true and buffered bypass, but on loss of power defaults to true, so you don't lose signal. It comes across as a very well thought out bit of kit.
With the toneprint app on a computer, the range of parameters you can edit is massive. You can almost certainly get any compressor sound you want out of this. I bought it with the aim to have a really transparent compressor that you barely know is on, other than the extra sustain. It definitely achieves this, but it took me a bit of tweaking to get to where I was really happy.
That's basically my only complaint. The default settings could be a bit better I think. They aren't bad, but I don't think they show off the pedal to be as good as it can be. If you like to tinker, then this is probably the only compressor pedal you would ever want

Restarts accidentally
Pros:
- incredible versatile using USB and software (check youtube EytschPi42 DEEP review)
Cons:
- restarts accidentally during playing, very annoying 'cause it produces a loud click into an amp

Good compressor. Don't forget to update firmware
Well made product: looks good, sounds good.
With the TonePrint technology you can change compression style and character in a couple of sec, switching your compressor to completely different device.
Please don't forget to update firmware to the latest one.
Overall: I like it. Some little flaws are disappeared after updating the firmware.
