Teenage Engineering TP-7

After 2 years my dream come true. Finally I purchased it. First day I tried it everything’s looked fine. Third day I noticed a noise from the mechanism which is rotating. With each turn, the mechanism would get stuck and make a grinding noise. Then I searched on YouTube i realized that lots of people have same problem.. some of them changed their product 3-4 times some people don’t have any problem. Some people reported this problem to Teenage Engineering, but were told it was normal. They also said the rotating mechanism could be turned off as a solution. While the whole appeal of the product is this mechanism, the suggestion to turn off the rotating mechanism to prevent the jamming sound from being recorded when an external recording is desired has completely ruined my appetite for this product and resulted in a return.
