This mount is very solid and works well. It's quite long which if you need that range of adjustment is great, but it means the screw sticks up quite a lot so it's more obtrusive in some mounting positions.

Feels good on my doublebass. I just hope the treads won't strip to easy. ( after 15 gigs still works)
