Secure and Decent Reach!

These are so affordable that I bought some on a whim, not expecting much, but they have totally replaced my low-profile stands and cleared up some much needed space in my home studio. In the past, I've generally preferred gooseneck style rim clamps, for the added positioning versatility, but these clamps provide the perfect amount of reach for either a SM57 sized mic, or a shorter, Audix D2 style mic, and with much higher stability than a gooseneck (those things can sag and shift over time). Don't be fooled by the price, this is a worthwhile and excellent product!

Best clamp for a lot of drum mic.

Clamp for Sennheiser e604/e904 is really nice, this clamp gives same style but different angle which made this suitable to using with Audix D2/D4 mics on toms, also well used with Beyerdynamic TG-D35d when with original clamp not have any places to clamp it. I also use this with Sennheiser e906/609, can be setup great angle on snare top (with using screw from other side), and snare top for parallel with head, and also often using with Shure Beta57A on snare top. I think this is a No.1 choice, almost the same product like Audio-Technica AT8665 clamp, but for cheaper money.

Clever design, fast operations

I bought four of these to use with existing mic set, they seem durable (but only time will tell us.)

Material: it's made of plastic.
One size fits all: the design is clever and it fits different hoop sizes.
Operations: snap on, snap off...as simple as that. No need to fasten or tighten screws.

It fits an old kit with die cast hoop on snare drum and steel hoops on toms. They hold mic stable.

So much better than the SRM 1

I have a drum mic set from Thomann that came with the SRM 1s, and simply put, those are awful. They don't fit onto anything nicely, and when they are on secure, they press down onto the drum head and muffle the sound of the drum.

The SRM 2 however, is fantastic. It snaps on nicely over the lip of the drum, stays nice and secure, and does not touch the drum head itself and alter the sound. They can hold a good weight too, I have one with a Shure PG52 mic on my floor tom and it isn't moving at all.
