very satisfied
I got 2 of these to record stereo sounds with my H4N recorder, i use them for different purposes like recording various percussion sounds, sound design, recording crowd noise at music events, speech etc... Gooseneck is very useful because you can point it in any direction and i dont need any mic stands. Sound quality is really good for the price, totally adequate for my needs. It's a condenser microphone, so it needs 48V phantom power. I would buy it again.

Great build quality, very high levels of background noise.
Used these on a few panel discussions, not really that impressed overall.
OK, they are a budget option, and they certainly feel like they're well made. The finish is good, and they look like they're last.
The pickup pattern is good, and they sound OK, however there seems to be a fair bit of difference in sound between the 6 I bought, and the background noise from them is high.
They'd be fine if you always had good strong speakers using them, but, as is nearly always the case in conference work someone always shys away from the mic, or has a quiet speaking voice.

Fair product, fair price
I've used better gooseneck mics and I've used worse. In the cheaper price range these are my favourite. I'm very happy with them and would recommend them for many sound amplification purposes. The amplifiers built in can be a little noisy, which is why they are fine for PA but not brilliant for recording.
They have a very rugged feel and seem to last well.
I expect to be buying more of them over the coming years for different installation projects.

Exceeded my expectations
We actually bought this for our Church in Portugal. Honestly I was very sceptical of it, but it ended up being super good quality. I was really surprised. I definitely recommend this product!

Great sounding podium mic
I've used this in place of a considerably more expensive Shure model and this behaved very well indeed. A good clear sound for speech. Tight pickup pattern and no problems with feedback, even with less than ideal placement. Very impressed

Sound quality is ok, Build quality is good
As my headline states, Sound quality is ok, Build quality is good.
They will last a while, but if you are looking for a top quality lecturn / tabletop mic, be best stay with the top brands for now,
This is good as a budget spare to have though,.

A simple and good one ...
I used it as talkback mic on Wing console. The sound is clear and the response level is really correct. The only little point for me, it's not flexible over the whole neck, but i recomment it without any doubts

Cheap but noisy
This gooseneck has terrible mechanical/handling noise. Plugged into my A&H desk it picks up more of the sound of me pushing buttons and turning knobs than it does my voice. It's cheap of course so you can't expect perfection but there is clearly something lacking in the capsule isolation.
