I'm a multi-instrumentalist living in the UK and I decided I wanted to try my hand at percussion. It seemed a good idea to start with both a untuned and tuned instrument so snare and glockenspiel were my picks.
After shopping around online, I came across this item on Thomann (a company I was already familiar with). It was easy to order and the item came in good time, well packaged and as I hoped for.
I'm very pleased with this purchase - the glockenspiel itself sounds nice and includes a carry bag, mallets, adjustable stand, and music stand. The snare practise bad in a lovely bonus and I easily switch between the two instruments.
I'm happy with this product and happy with the great service from Thomann. This item gets my recommendations!

Happy with it
Stavros25 01.11.2024
I like the tone it produces. It's not top notch but its really good and resonates well, I don't think I can complain at this price range. The stand is really nice and sturdy. The mallets are really bad, cheap plastic, very lightweight. I would rather if it came with a couple decent pairs of mallets rather than the snare practice pad which is useless to me.

Pretty good glockenspiel

This is a very good beginner glockenspiel for it’s price. The quality isn’t bad, the only complaint I have is that the stand is a bit flimsy, but other than that I think it’s great

Surprisingly good
Mr. drummer 30.10.2025
It is cheap, so I kept my hopes down and didn’t expect much. I was pleasantly surprised. Nice sound and the build quality is remarkably good at first inspection. Hope it holds up as a music school instrument. The bag is robust and really nice and the stand does its job.
Even the practice pad included, a Remo copy, is nice and the biggest surprise are the included Maple drumsticks. They are of real good quality. Straight and well balanced.
Overall a great buy and you get a lot for a small price.
