PLEK Service - PLEK Nut

Behind the brand name PLEK is a patented procedure that facilitates perfect dressing of the fretboard, fretwork, nut, bridge, as well as improving overall the adjustment of the string action.

In close consultation with you, our team optimises the string action and thus the playability of your instrument. Intonation problems that are the result of a disproportionately high string action are also eliminated.

Fast turnaround- great finishing on a B stock guitar
damondimento78 18.03.2021
After helpful advice from a rep, decided to add the service. Was buying a B stock guitar as replacement for a return of same model. For 60 euros I received both a better B stock item and a well cut and seated nut, low string action and good intonation. Debated whether to buy a new or B stock, but I think accepting minor pain defects and a much better set up guitar vs the lottery of buying a new low price guitar, was a chance worth taking. Only a shame that Thomann don't offer a service in between this and the lowest cost plek machine service (200+ euros versus 60 euros)

One minor - is that the technicians left the old blackened b stock strings on the guitar. It would have added 5extra minutes to the process to put new strings on. The ones on the guitar are blackened, dead and need to be changed.

A perfectly cut nut on a relatively cheap guitar. Superb. To include a bone nut, then this, works great!

Good Service.

Fixed the badly cut nut on my brand new Les Paul back which I purchased from Thomann in 2016. Thomann still made me pay for the service and I would not buy another expensive guitar from this company or another new Gibson again. Shoddy Manufacturing and Shoddy After sale care.
