It's no Yanigasawa, but for the price? It's fantastic.

Very affordable horn that doesn't compromise on style. It plays really nicely, feels great in the hands. Key placement is pretty good, too.

I think I'll probably need to take this to a technician just because a couple keys get stuck (like the body octave key) amongst a few other personal preferences in how I like my horn set up. But most of the issues I have are definitely a problem with me being picky and not the horn itself. The horn is fantastic. Couldn't recommend more.

The low price is good for a first insrument

I received the sax yesterday and tried it out for a few hours. Putting it together, I find the instrulent is porrly machined. The neck is hard to insert into the body, it's too tight. The ligature is awful and had to be replaced immediately by something better. Between Ab and G over the break, a huge difference in timbre.

I believe it is worth purchasing this instrument as a first tenor for someone who is a beginning player, to get the feel of the instrument. At this price, there's no cloth to clean the sax but there is a pair of white gloves. Perhaps these are top contrast against the black of the body?

It was my first (and still the only sax I've ever played) so hard to judge but I am happy with it. The mouthpiece & ligature needed upgrading straight away but apart from that it's very nice!

I bought this a bit over a year ago and am learning to play the sax since. I love it so far! It is a really nice instrument, especially for beginners. The price/quality ratio is perfect for me as a beginner, plus I must say I got a lot of comments because it really is a good looking instrument. For a beginner, I would buy this again if I had to!
