Works flawlessly, but USB-A connector is tight
I use this to connect devices to my Macbooks without blocking the other USB ports. In this role, the adapter works flawlessly. I didn't test maximum transfer rate. The only complaint is that the USB-A port is tight, requiring some force to insert the plug. The USB-C however has not had problems with fit.
