Good enough for my use

First time using this rosin and it is recommended by Thomann staff for a beginner. Just a few sliding of my bow hair on it and I can play a good tone sound on my violin already. It is value for money too.

A lot of violins include rosin as part of the package but I reckon it's best to (try to) have a spare. It rosins the bow nicely and fits snugly in the little storage compartment in the case. Recommended.

Closer to dark than clear rosin

My daughter kept breaking rosins. This one is so cheap that i don't care if she breaks it. The format and the handling is good so now it doesn't slip from her hand down the floor to break. Will buy more... if needed.
