use them as shelfs
I use 2 of these things as shelfs on my mixing desk. I was finding a solution for mixing desk for very long time. Appropriate solutions "in box" were overpriced or undeliverable (to Russia over customs) or unsuitable for my needs.
Once upon a time I saw a table in shopping mall with iron legs and wooden tabletop. That was it! FOR 60-70 EURO! But I needed to organise my gear in some kind of slots, shelfs.
Fortunately, Thomann sells a lot of such stuff, and 2 pieces Thon Multiflex provide me 8U of space, which are in use with Drawmer 1960, Clarett 8PreX and other 4U are in use for little stuff like PRE-73, laptop etc.
These modultracks provide additional sustainability the whole construction with table. I also attached a monitor mount on them, so now I've got very cheap but useful working place with 8U for gear, DIY shelf for MIDI keyboard (Novation49).
Table - 65 euro
Modultracks ? 2 ? 89 euro (now it costs 105 euro) = 170 euro
DYI midi keyboard shelf on the runners attached under table = 130 euro
monitor mount = 30 euro
Total for flexible and usable very mixing desk is under 400 euro.

Multiflex Modulrack Mulit-Solution
Peachy Events brought this rack recently. The Rack options are verid and this 4U rack with its well built wooden construction will house another of our high end amplifiers. We have been using these systems for a number of years and are finding the flexibility of making smaller racks of combination of items means we can stack up or load the multiplex road trucks with any combination of kit without having to unbolt any existing racks.
The only reason we haven't given it full marks is now and again we could do with rack rails at the back and have added the ourselves.
One other good point to note is these racks have clip on lids and back so we can take them out without loading them into trunks.

Excellent
Very good series of units. Sturdy build quality, easy to handle, stable to stack.
They are not lightweight, but won't brake your back either.
Unfortunately no rails at the back, but you can easily add some yourself.
If your appliances require a lot of cabling in the back, make sure they are long enough so you can easily reach them. You might want to make sure you have a little extra height in the rack if it seems the i/o would be hard to reach.
