As expected, unfortunately
As expected, this is cheap MDF with a vinyl covering and is held together with IKEA-style connectors. It slipped and fell during assembly and two of the connectors tore out. I glued the large chunks of - well, it’s not even MDF, it’s particle board- I glued them in and it’s holding. It’s not pretty, but it’s out of sight anyway.
I had originally intended to build my own using solid oak and half-blind dovetails, but a shoulder injury put an end to that plan. €130 isn’t much, but it’s enough that I expect “real MDF” and not wood chips and saw dust held together with glue. If it were somehow to get wet, it would expand and fall apart before your eyes.
So I guess this is one of those curmudgeonly reviews where you wonder ‘what did this guy expect?’ Well, I don’t expect to pay €130 for a €50 item.

Awesome little desktop rack unit
I bought this to house a patchbay and audio interface. It does the job perfectly. It goes together really well and is sturdy enough to have my Eurorack desktop unit sitting onto of it. Top stuff
