Beginner's reed reference!
Every reed player I know use Vandoren reeds, amateurs and pro players alike. Top quality, wood is 'sturdy' and won't break easily, easily humidified, vibration response is on point. Best quality/price ratio!
Number 2 are great when you begin, they are giving me enough breath and control!

Very easy to play, good response, ideal for classical/jazz, not so much for pop/rock
I have a bunch of different Classic Blue reeds at different strengths, they all have good response across the board but I would say they are ideal for you if you plan to play more classical or jazz, i.e. mellower/darker. For the pop/rock sound I feel these don't have the same "crunch" that I can get for example from the Java Greens.

Good reeds for your money!
Mainly using these for practicing / playing some Jazz - Fusion.
These reeds last long, but you are sacrificing a little bit in sound, don't get me wrong, you can get rich tones with these but you can always get a little better sound, (but it also represents more money).

Quality reed
Nice quality reed. The nice thing by Thomann is you can buy them seperate to try different reeds. For me as beginner this was the one I need.

great sounding reed
I would recommend this for all players at all levels. You will be not at all disappointed. Full response nice and all notes in any scale sounds great. Rich dark sound. Suitable for both Jazz and classical. Consistency of this reed is amazing.

I used these reeds when I just started playing saxophone. No complaints, good started reed.

very good reed
Very good reed. Very good sound. Quite easy blowing but I dont recommend it for first reed for beginners.
