Vandoren V16 Tenor Sax T6-L

Recently bought the V16 T6L from Thomann-reliable delivery as always,in fact bit faster than usual.I noticed the tip opening was the same size as my V16 T7L and.rather than send it back,I flattened the table of the mpce until it was level and the side rails even. It plays pretty much as expected; warm sound and in tune all through the registers. It works well with Legere Signature 2.75 reed or Vandoren ZZ no. 3.This gives the Stan Getz,Zoot Sims West Coast sound I was aiming for and so am very happy. If you prefer something a bit louder and free blowing try the T7L with a Legere Signature 2.5 reed,still with a warm sound.
