VegaTrem VT1 Special 2-Points Steel

I got this for my player ii strat as I wasn’t fully happy with its stock tremolo, as I wanted to be able to dive bomb and pull up with it. Especially after adding an emg steve lukather pickguard.
It is not always true a hyped up product lives up to expectations once you get it.
But vegatrem is just up there at the top. It is a very well thought and crafted tremolo. It keeps tuning very well and lets you make all tremolo adjustments very easily. Leaving the dive bombs aside, I am surprised how the already very good playability improved further.
Worth every penny.

Had to do a bit of minor woodwork to make it fit as my post spacing was non-standard, this was my issue not Vega's and the rest of the install was simple. Watched their YouTube instructions and had it all done in half an hour. If my Squire Strat had been more standard it would have only taken 10 minutes. Super fun being able to dive bomb down and bend upwards, very sensitive and musical. Gigged it at the weekend and 1200 people got a wobbly Strat sound whether they wanted or appreciated it or not!

These trem units are easy to install, look great and add a whole new dimension to your playing. very smooth action.

This is simply the most incredible trem I've ever owned - and I've had all of them. Everything from Floyd to Kahler to Ibanez Edge to Supervee. This is a marvel of engineering, and it's stainless which is great for anti-corrosive purposes. Perfect retrofit into a HB Fusion III and a Fender Strat 59 Reissue. Stability is simply at another level. All the YouTube demos are totally right on - Super Happy!!!!!!

Rest assured that everything you see in the reviews is true, this bridge is absolutely great, comfortable, stable, and a joy to play. HOWEVER, I guess it's only designed to work on "Strat" models, as I bought it for an EART EYP-24, which has a 25,5" scale and the measurements fit perfectly BUT, the travel needed on the saddles for correct intonation were insuficient on this trem, so I couldn't use it on that guitar. Once I put it on a strat-like guitar, it worked perfectly!!
Just keep that in mind...

Great wide range for tremolo expression. It also seems to have increased the resonant sustain of my guitar.

Replacing the vintage style tremolo with this one took some time and modifications (I guess I should've used the 6 point version), but when it was finally installed, it totally upgraded the instrument playability to a whole another level.
Imagine having a floyd rose on your strat, but staying in tune much better, and changing strings much easier. That's what you're having with Vega Trem system.
