The ride makes for a killer crash
I'm into bigger crashes, and I took a punt on these (16" is being used as part of a stack), and I'm not disappointed.
I'm a heavy hitter and playing metal/heavier stuff and I love the response the ride gives me as my main crash.
Bright and not overbearingly loud like other rides or crash/rides.

Slightly disappointed with the sound and weight
Just for reference, I play Zildjians L80 at home and K series in a local studio and my previous set for rehearsals and open mics was Paste 101.
The Impulz is beautiful to look at but quite heavy (as in weight to carry around).
- Ride has a huge sustain and remains vibrating for ages, which might suit some people but for the type of music i play is not ideal.
- Hi-hats sound cheap and nasty.
- Crash is ok but it doesn't seem to cut through the rest of the band. The splash is the best part, maybe because it was free.
And the final nag is that they got lots of stick marks straight away. I haven't tried cleaning them.
The first lesson here for me is not to believe the recordings we listen here and on youtube reviews. The second is that i'd be better off saving in other areas but spending more on cymbals.

Superb sound for entry level cymbals
I've been looking at various sets of cymbals and decided to try the Impulz. From different reviewes it's apparent that everyone have different opinions on the individual cymbals from this set. I think for this money, this is definitely a winer. Personally, I have not come across of any otehr entry level set that sounds quite as nice as these ones. The quality is great and the sound is really worth every penny, and more.

Best for the price
Quality of the cymbals is absolutely fenomenal for this price. Theese boys are heavy and quite fancy. Bought them for gigs and practice. The only drawback for me now, is that they are really loud while practicing in a small room. However, great cymbals!

Excellent value for money
Quality is excellent for the money. Ride cymbal is pretty loud, and fills the room. Used for gigs and practice and seem suitable for either.

I was sceptical - but pleasantly surprised. They look great, sound great, and haven't cracked....yet.
