I really only bought this to help sell & ship a guitar in so I haven't had much actual "use".
First impressions are overall good - tolex work, lining, padding etc. all well done.
Has the typical latches you find on cases in this price range, they work but they have that certain lower quality feel to them you don't find on the likes of fender and gibson cases for example.
I used it to ship an EVH shark shaped guitar, there was a lot of movement but the supplied extra pad "bar" helped greatly, but it needs a lot of padding to secure it inside the case if you are using it for shipping.
If the case were knocked over in normal use I would be concerned about headstock cracks or possible even full blown breaks, so while it would offer good protection from things hitting the outside, fairly serious drops would be cause for concern. Obviously not as protective as a fully form fitting case but they can be considerably more expensive - think you would need to shell out a couple hundred for a fitted explorer gibson case.
There's always a bit of compromise when the price is factored in, it works, but feels like it possesses the bare minimum it needs to work and more effort was put into it looking right.
The guitar I shipped arrived perfectly safe with all the extra padding and I was able to use the box the case shipped in, I used Hermes and in the UK they do have a reputation for mistreating parcels, so it functioned well in that capacity at least.

Decent Hard Shell
Decent Hard Shell for storage, but not a road warrior case. Has four latch points with a key, which is nice, and the hinge hardware seems good. But this case has somewhat of a soft leather exterior which easily creates scuffs, scratches, marks. This is really my biggest gripe about the case is the soft leather sofa feel. Rather have a hard exterior. Got this for the Harley Benton EX-84. Not an exact fit but does a decent job. Seems really roomy in the case with the guitar. The support solution to that room is a removable cushion in the case. So, if you lose that cushion you are SOL. Overall decent case that does the job, but I would say its average.

Useful size
This is a case I had to buy because there is nothing else that will fit my 1976 Gibson G3 Bass. Its snug and holds it well, but it doesn't seem to have a lot of strength in the top, I could be wrong but there is no way of knowing unless I pull out the lining, which I wont :)
On the down side, the black covering is not glued to the case and it rips VERY easily! It does however give the case a roadworn look, and some people pay a lot of money for guitars that look well hammered. It is doing its job and that is the main thing. Not as sturdy as my other Thomann cases.

Great but one catch
The quality and construction of the case is pretty great but it did not fit my & string Rhoads, so if you have an especially large Xtreme shaped guitar this might not be useful for you. I ended up using it for my Solar V instead

Cheapest oversize case available
...Which is why I bought it! Being realistic, for the money it is great. Seems well built and isn't too heavy. Well balanced when the guitar is inside.
I bought it to use with a Jackson Kelly guitar - the guitar is smaller than the case so in order to stop it sliding around I'll need to make some foam inserts or something. A fitted case would be 3 times the price though so this is acceptable.
Recommend for gigging, but probably not for a full blown tour.

Thomann EX-Style Case
Once again you cant beat the Thomann value, and the guitar i bought this case to fit is a bit of a monster. It's an Eastwood short scale hollow body bass guitar. I haven't had to use it much but due to its size, it's structural integrity feels a little unsteady. Not sure it would last a full tour on the road but for the price it would definitely suit a less taxing transportation regimen.

Standard plywood case
Ok standard case. You might want to fit it with some styrofoam or something like that to protect the guitar a little better than the supplied padding does. Nothing I would recommend you to bring on a flight or on tour, but works well enough for the local gigs.

Great Value
Great value for the money! If you need a hard case for storage, the Thomann case is right for you. Nice build and classic style. This is my second Thomann case and been happy with it!

Light-weight
Weak construction, soft outer material.
Survived 10 +/- trips
No problems with inside. Instrument is still untouched.
Was used for ''Jackson Warrior'' Guitar.
Can use with any ''V'' shaped guitar.
Locks are weak.
Big-sized case. Can't fit in any car
