Ich habe mir die M03 in den Verkaufsraum bringen lassen und dort ausprobiert. Das Ergebnis war, dass sie definitiv die richtige Kesselform und das richtige Volumen hat, aber leider eindeutig zu hoch gestimmt war.
Es war aber auch schnell erkennbar, dass die Spannung leicht nachgelassen werden kann und dann die Trennung zwischen Slap und sehr druckvollem Ton hergestellt wird.
Ich habe das riskiert und die Djembe mitgenommen. Tatsächlich konnte die Stimmung sehr gut korrigiert werden.
Sie ist für den Einsatz als Begleitung aber vor allem auch als Soloinstrument amtlich geeignet. Bisher hatte ich meine Djemben immer von afrikanischen Meistern direkt (z.B. Famoudou Konate) und die M03 spielt hier in der gleichen Liga.
Auch an der Verarbeitung gibt es nichts zu meckern. Man sieht ihr zwar an, dass sie (anders als die meisten anderen) abgedreht ist, das lässt sie aber nicht weniger afrikanisch aussehen.

Vielseitige Djembe mit einem Haken

Diese Djembe fühlt sich wertig an, ist recht schwer und hat sehr vielseitige Klänge, die je nach Anschlag wirklich unterschiedlich klingen können. Leider ist sie für meinen Geschmack etwas zu stark bespannt, sodass ich mit viel Geduld und Wasser auf dem Fell versuche sie etwas "entspannter" zu machen. Ich wünschte mir man könnte im Bestellprozess angeben, wie dolle sie bespannt sein soll. Für African Drums perfekt - für Spiritcircle und entspannteres Begleiten muss man schon sehr soft spielen und selbst da wirken die Töne an den Seiten etwas hoch... aber gut so ist es halt wenn man eine Djembe online bestellt. Wollte sie aber auch nicht deswegen zurücksenden und gebe ihr eine Chance.

Très beau Djembé, qualité du bois d'acajou, très belle peau, cordage bien plus rapproché que sur la photo et qualité de son impeccable. Les sculptures sont belles et faites mains comme le reste d'ailleurs. Chaque Djembé de ce genre est unique et non industriel. C'est du bel l'artisanat.
Un SAV impeccable et efficace répondant à toutes les questions très rapidement et à 'écoute du client. Très satisfait. Merci
