Great Spanish guitar with some cosmetic cons
Pros
Great sounding guitar with great looks. Very light and very responsive.
Cons
Pretty much all the cons are cosmetic. Given that all Burguet guitars are hand-made, I wish more effort was made in the production process and the quality control afterwards to produce a flawless guitar.
1. One of the tuner holes is splintering (the drill bit has eaten up some of the wood, possibly from the headstock not being clamped properly when drilling)
2. There is a haze on the finishing of the top behind the strings near the soundhole
3. There was a divot on the 14th fret when I received the guitar
4. There was a tiny divot on the cedar top
5. Heel cap has uneven curve
6. The guitar came with a defective high E string (It has a chip in it)
Thomann were very nice and very responsive and solved the issues with the guitar.
