This is a great microphone! It was sold together with my audio interface Discrete 4 synergy core, I really like the effect of emulating different microphones, the sound itself is very clear. I only use it!

Very clean sound
Since I do not own any of the mics that the Edge Solo models I cannot state with authority whether the emulations are accurate, although I have sung through some of these modelled mics at other studios. I would say though that singing into this mic is gratifying, in the way that singing into a Neumann U67 is gratifying, and that the quality of the recorded sound is excellent (TLA preamp/Nuendo). Acoustic guitars recorded through this also sound good, slightly better than my Beyer MC834. Thumbs up from me.

Very transparent mic, requires the antelope plugin or interface for the emulations, which sound great! For this price it is hard to beat all the sonic options it gives.
