Not good enough
I decided to continue with having the interface for A/D conversion and only for that. Now desktops and laptops high performers and can easily process in real time with very low buffer size (<32smpl).
So, I tried this one and I found some interesting preamp emulations, but those didn't improve guitar sound for heavy music. Other onboard dsps were just not comfy or not necessary for me to set up..
A big deal breaker is that every time it's switched on, the connected headphones click. Not sure what is expected? to disconnect them every time or to never turn it off? And many interfaces don't address this issue. but motu m4 doesn't have this problem :)
