compared to the aquarian texture coated, these are better in every way.
they are two ply heads, but they are not sound killer, like some others 2-ply, and there is enough sustain and much clarity. coating is perfect, something between remo and evans coating, and they stay clean for long time.
definitely would recommend.

Great drum head, makes the 12 inch tom beefy and sweet sounding. The coating lasts long and the white skin looks good on a white drum kit. Give them a try!

The Aquarian 12" Response 2 coated is a great drum head for the heavier hitter. I've tried every brand and different ply heads, but these are great. Despite being a 2 ply drum head, there is great tone and amazing attack.
