These Aquarian heads have the vibe of boutique drum heads. They are incredibly well packed, flawlessly made, beautifully crafted and give you the feeling of owning a cadillac of drumheads.

Sounding wise they are really good indeed, and some actually have an unique sound and feel, but at the end it’s just a drumhead like any other (Remo, Evans, etc) a little more expensive.

If you like to keep your consistency in a specific brand, I’m sure you can find similar ones like these Modern Vintage models. These are great, but nothing really unique

Kommt bei mir auf einer Gretsch Catalina 16"x16" FT zur Anwendung. Hatte für diese Trommel vorher auf ein Aquarian Deep Vintage II Coated gesetzt, was dann aber zu "träge" war.

Und: Passt perfekt zu meinen Vorstellungen. "Draufwerfen, feddich." Der Ton ist bei entsprechender Stimmung so tief, wie ich es möchte, ohne "platschig" zu werden. Toms kamen allesamt mit nur einem Overhead perfekt rüber, die Kollegen in der Band waren beeindruckt.
Anmerkung: Habe aber auch in diesem Zuge den Spannreifen der Standtom gegen einen Vintage Style Sticksaver (2,3mm) getauscht. Sollte erwähnt werden.

Lieferung usw. natürlich Thomann-üblich sehr gut! DANKE!
