Das Teil erfüllt seinen Zweck sehr gut, das Cello rutscht nicht mehr weg, auch wenn man es ohne die Gurtbefestigung am Stuhlbein benutzt. Die Auflagefläche sollte allerdings gelegentlich (feucht) gereinigt werden. Mit viel gutem Willen kann man sogar eine akustische Verbesserung wahrnehmen.
Einzige Schwachstelle: die Gummiauflage muss nach einiger Zeit nachgeklebt werden.Trotzdem: alles in allem empfehlenswert.
