I bought this violin bow with the intention of using it on my electric six string and I have to say that for its price I'm very pleased with the quality of it. Sounds good on an electric guitar, that's for sure. I assume it does its job quite well on a violin proper so I can definitely recommend it.

I bought this bow as it was inexpensive and I wanted a separate bow to use for 'silent' practice (without rosin).

It does the job well. The hair tightening mechanism feels like good quality, and it is of comparable quality to the bow that comes with the Stentor II violin.

my old one broke which came with the violin, l did not know a bow can make such a difference in sound. if l knew l 'd have changed long time ago. considering the price it performs very well.
