Being the "medium output" offering of the Bare Knuckle Boot Camp range this sits nicely in-between the classic 50s PAF sound and the modern high-gain humbucker, think 1970s-80s hard rock and early metal and you won't be far wrong. It's almost *too* bite-y for a bridge pickup, you might want to roll the tone knob off a little, but even so it has sustain and power for days.

Grand fan de la marque Bare Knuckle depuis une quinzaine d'années, je n'ai donc pas hésité une seconde à essayer cette série Boot Camp.
J'ai donc opté pour ce humbucker pour me faire un set HSS avec les single coils eux aussi True Grit correspondant sur une strat.
Il en résulte une belle polyvalence et une aisance dans la plupart des styles, le niveau de sortie évaluer à "moyen" est tout à fait suffisant pour envoyer du gros son tout en gardant le côté détaillé et organique du jeu et des attaques de main droite et permettant aussi, en jouant du potard de volume, d'obtenir un beau son clair.
Le site du fabricant propose de nombreux diagrammes électronique pour ces micros, d'ailleurs la série Bootcamp bénéficie de schémas spécifiques.
Cette série n'a pas à rougir face aux modèles plus "custom" proposés par la marque.
J'avais déjà pris une paire de humbuckers Brute Force pour une SG, dont je suis plus que satisfait.
La prochaine étape sera surement d'essayer la série Old Guard.
