Kunststoffblatt Bari Star für Tenor Sax

Das Blatt aus Kunststoff eignet sich sehr gut zum Üben und auch bei Musik, die "Knacken" soll, wie z.B. Rock. Bei der Wahl der Härte empfehle ich gegenüber Holzblatt eine Nummer weicher. Ich spiele sonst Härte M auf Holz. S auf Kunststoff kommt dem sehr nahe. Das Blatt spricht sehr gut an und ist über die ganze Tonbreite präsent. Stimmung ist etwas höher als Holz. Es klingt auch nicht ganz so weich. Leise Töne sind schwieriger, dafür kommen die Beats aber knackiger.
Blatt ist vom ersten bis zum letzten Ton voll da und lässt nicht nach. Für bestimmte Einsätze kann ich es voll empfehlen.

Das Bari Blatt am Claude Lakey Mundstück war fast nicht zu spielen (dauerndes Überblasen). Am "normalen" Thomann Mundstück, welches mit dem Antik Tenor Sax geliefert wurde, ging's dann ganz gut. Doch mir ist das ganze zu hart und agressiv. Rock- oder Funk-Saxofonisten, die es sehr hart mögen, sollten dieses Blatt mal versuchen.
