Nach langem Überlegen habe ich es gewagt, das Cone meiner Hoefner Gitarre mit diesem edlen Teil zu tauschen. Der Effekt hat meine Erwartungen weit übertroffen. Ich finde, der Unterschied zu vorher ist erheblich, obwohl ich in Sachen Sound & akustische Feinheiten sicherlich nicht die hellste Kerze im Leuchter bin. Jetzt klingt sie richtig nach Reso :). => Klare Empfehlung, der Hunni ist gut angelegt.

Habe den Cone in einer Second Hand Gretsch Bobtail (Holz) Roundneck verbaut.
Der Vergleich im ausgebauten Zustand zeigt, daß der Beard Cone mit einem Bleistift angeschlagen wesentlich mehr Obertöne und Klangfarben erzeugt als das Gretsch Teil. Das ist auch noch im Instrument zu hören. Die Lautstärke erhöht sich allerdings nicht wirklich.
Zum Einbau muss der Cone im Durchmesser etwas reduziert werden (schleifen) sonst klemmt er.
