Consider the price, and then consider the sound!
Chronos 27.09.2013
I am a musician, and a sound engineer, and this review is coming from someone who works in both careers.

I use two of these speakers for small gigs, of up to 90 people, or as monitors for myself and another on stage for larger gigs. These speakers definitely don't lack power, especially for their size (464 x 292 x 244mm) and weight of 8.5kg.

Sound:
The sound isn't to every musician's taste I don't believe. I would call it flat, but to me, as a sound engineer, that's a good thing. With a small graphic equalizer (I use a behringer xenyx x1222 desk which has one on it) I can get a great sound from these, no matter what venue I play at. As you turn them up they don't lose bass, and the trebles don't distort. I would like to add that the bass sounds as if it is around 65 to 70hz, which may not be low enough for some people, but if that's the case then a subwoofer would be your best choice to buy with it.

Features:
Not many knobs for you to play around with, which to me once again is a good thing. Less knobs means less time setting up, and less things to break.
It has a power switch, a level knob, and a low and high EQ knob. There are two lights, one green to tell you there is power, and a red clip light to tell you that you're going too loud.
This speaker only has a Microphone input, a jack input, and a microphone link output to connect to another speaker. It does not use "speakon" cables, which isn't a problem for me as I prefer using microphone cables, as they tend to be cheaper to buy, can be connected together to make longer cables, and can be used for other equipment (such as microphones and guitar pedals).

Quality:
The cabinet itself seems to be made of a typical hard plastic, and the main speaker is protected with a metal grill. It seems very sturdy, but the one thing I worry about is the knobs located at the back, which are only protected by a bit of plastic from the cabinet that sticks out at the top and bottom. If you're the kind of musician that literally throws everything into the back of the van, I doubt the knobs will last very long.

Conclusion:
I've done a couple of gigs with these so far and they are definitely worth the money. If I had a couple hundred euros more I would have gone for the b212d model instead as it is a lot more powerful, but these are not a bad investment as when the time comes to buy those, the b210d's will work very well as my stage monitors.
Also I would like to add that these are definitely better than the b208d, if only for the fact that the b208d doesn't have a handle. They both produce the same amount of power, but the b210d's do sound a little bassier.

I have had one of these for several years now and I use it regularly. Sometimes I use mounted on a poll as a PA amp for small performances, other times as an on-stage wedge monitor. It works well in both roles.

Overall, I have found the sound quality to be pretty good. I feel it is a bit "boomy" at the low end, but clarity is generally good and there is plenty of power.

Behringer gear seems to be looked down on for its build quality here, but I have no complaints about this: it is built like a tank and after several years of use hasn't given me any trouble (although I do tend to be rather careful of my equipment).

Plastic sound bass
Anonymous 15.11.2016
Speakers for a good price. Do not expect much from this device. Case plastic - so the sound of plastic too. Super quality is not to be expected from the sound - boomy bass but did not play music. Not a bad choice for background music or simply monitor when you do not really need the music sound like in the wooden PA. It is a good combo set with stands Millenium BS-2211B MKII Set, because it is not very heavy in the stands.

Ok for the most features

It tends to distort when the sound pressure is big. Anyway, for the rest, it is very capable. It has 10'' woofers, great for basses, I believe it is enough for small pubs and bar. When coupled with a separated subwoofer, it is indeed a great set of speakers: it can works as open air amplification.

I would recommend, it's great, it does its work, even if you have to pay a bit of attention when pressing a lot, it can fail in the sound for high volume pressures.

Great for Small Parties!
Federico B. 01.09.2014
I bought a pair of these small but formidable speakers!
just arrived (very good job of Thomann in 'packaging) I immediately installed on my Millenium poles, I tried them at a party 18 years and I was on the whole satisfied! obviously the volume is what you can expect from 170w RMS and downs are those of a 10-inch woofer (not bad). Then I tried coupled with a subwoofer Behringer B1800D and was amazed by the volume that could withstand!
They can go well for parties of around 30 people, but coupled with a sub you can get up to 70/80!
They are well decorated and weigh only 11 Kg!
Very good quality / price ratio!

Better than a phone, but not epic.
Kevin3178 05.09.2014
I use it sometimes, for DJ-listening.
The sound is okay, but there's no bass to talk about.
You can make a speech in it, for about 50 people, not more.

Good for purpose
Timothy F. 21.10.2013
While not the best speakers in the world, the Behringer B210D nonetheless do exactly what I want ideally. They make a good small PA system speaker for small venues (careful to not overdrive them) or brilliant monitors for choirs.

I bought these to amplify small venues. To me they are very good sounding. Probably you can find something that is better at much higher price, I don't know, but I'm really happy with these. And, of course, thanks to class D amplification these are really lightweight!

Good VFM

Does the job well - good value for money, and is very portable (more so than its baby brother the 208D which has no handles). Well pleased with our purchase of the 210D

Behringer B210D

I was looking for a robust and compact monitor, as I play in a busy band every weekend and having a good foldback mix is essential. At this price-point, you'll not find anything even close to the quality of the Behringer.

I've not been disappointed with this purchase. The speaker is tough and has enough volume to cut through, with ease. Placement is critical in a live situation (as with any monitor), so be mindful of feedback if you don't get this quite right. There is sometimes a tendency for the speaker to sound very bass-heavy (particularly with vocals) so take a little time to adjust the tone controls - just setting them to half-way may not do the trick.

I recommend this product.
