Behringer B 906

Great mic. I’ve struggled to get a SM57 to work on guitar cabs but this is really to capture an accurate sound of what’s coming out of speaker. No off axis stuff to worry about, a little tweaking either side of the cone and you’re done. Others mentioned the clamp is bit loose but I haven’t had any problems with it you could always tape it on for security. For the money every guitarist should have one

For price/performance this is pretty unbeatable.

Use - recording and amplifying guitar combo that doesn't have a DI.
Pro's - extremely affordable, comes boxed and with clamp. Mounts vertically in front of the source you are miking up. Switchable response patterns.
Cons - can't think of any
Conclusion, really useful addition to my microphone collection. I have 8 different Behringer microphones. They are all good, from the matched condensers used for drum overheads to this one, the cheapest one I have. I can honestly always recommend Behringer microphones.

Perfect mic to learn how to mic cabs and for use live as if it was to get damaged i can replace it without breaking the bank. Sounds great for recording as well.

I started using the Sennheiser mic for guitar cabs but honestly I can say there is hardly any difference, for more then half the price this little mic provides a top quality sound

I bought this microphone along with the Behringer SL 75C to learn more about mic recording directly from a bass cab. For the price, the build and sound quality are just amazing.

If you're learning how to use a mic to record this is an amazing choice.
