Good value for money and sounds surprisingly good

I admit it, I didn't expect too much from a pedal this cheap. But on the other hand I have a number of Behringer things, and they all do there jobs, although some of them are the second items because the first ones didn't work (I'm talking about you first BXD3000H; the replacement has been working perfectly for a couple of years).
Use - begintermediate guitar player at home and for the odd bit of recording and infrequent live performance.
What you get - a pinky purple box with knobs on. Turn the knobs for the desired sound. It really does do what it says on the tin, very pleasing full bodied heavy distortion whether played through my little Roland Cube in the house or any other solid state amp on clean channel (Fender Champion 100, Boss Katana 2x12).
Clearly this high impact plastic pedal is unlikely to be as durable as a metal one, but it seems to be pretty tough.
The only thing I don't like is the fiddly battery replacement. I prefer to use pedals at home with batteries, saves having cables everywhere. Runs quite happily for an adequately long time on rechargeable PP3s.
Seriously, buying one is worth a punt, you might like it. I do.

Great for the price!

I got this pedal a while ago, with a while ago I mean it was my first ever pedal.
It was like super cheap so I wasn’t expecting much but when I turned it on I was pretty shocked at what it could do! Of course it wasn’t perfect, it was fine, but for what it is, it is extremely good.

The stomp button or whatever it’s called feels a bit cheap, but what do you expect
The knobs are super heavy to then which gives it some expensive feel or something
The plastic is a bit cheap but again, what do you expect

Overall a great pedal! I wouldn’t use it in a studio myself but for home practice or just if you’re a beginner, it’s great!

Get it now!!!

It's a beginners pedal, too noisy, not for the pro's.
Jimmyboy420@bonghit.org 20.05.2022
I saw a JHS video about behringer dust pedals, claiming they could emulate boss style distortion.

It doesn't hit as well as a boss distortion does. I will say I am used to a nice analogue distortion that I have from a vintage boss DM 2 distortion pedal.

It's kind of annoying that when you have the gain and distortion lowered down completely, there is still a bit too much distortion, so you can't really get subtle over drive tones from it.

Basically it's ok for balls to the wall, metal, but it's also very noisy, like unusabley noisy.

So if you buy this looking for a cheap distortion alternative, you'll also have to buy a noise gate.

It has a good variety of tones via the Eq, but if you ask me its all negated by the amount of noise.

Definitely a beginners pedal.

Great, but you want it on full blast, always.
GRT 24.06.2021
This should go without saying on a heavy distortion amp, but this amp performs at its best when everything is turned up to the max. I love it dearly, and the only complaint is I wish I could tone it down a little and get a bit more variety out of it. I wouldn't buy this as your very first distortion pedal unless you play very heavy rock or metal, but if thats what youre looking for, this is the pedal for you.
