The build quality and the overal form factor is great and the hands on controls really make sense.

I found it to have a very aggressive / piercing sound which I presume is what the prophet one is for (dunno since I never had one), however I personally didn't gel with that sound since I like a bit more creamy stuff, but that is a personal prefferance.

The pro 800 which I own, monopohinic mode for example is much more to my liking. With that said, pro 1 can make some awesome gnarly bass sounds, but couldn't justify keeping it for that alone. I'm sure it can also do weird fx sounds, but I'm not into that.

So the stars reflect my personal liking of this synth. I am sure it's great if you want aggresive sounds though.

Sounds great but Arpegiator is weird

Just got this last week, sounds great, a truly unique synth but the Arpegiator doesn't work, the sequencer also sometimes works sometimes it does not, it seems to have a mind of it's own. Google search shows that lot of people are having the same issue, the synthtribe software doesn;t do much, even formware upgrade didn;t resolve the issue, I have to return this product and get a replcement, Behringer should really test this equipment before sending them out. Extremely inconvenient to now send this back and wait for the new one to arrive.
