Despite sharing part of its name with the TD-3, this thing is its own animal. Way more control over the tone, made me laugh when I tried it out because I'm used to a standard 303.

Excellent service from Thomann as well.

One of the better sounding Behringer Clones.

It is not 100% Devilfish more like 95% Devilfish. I can live with that. If you need 99.9% to fool everyone in your YouTube comparison shootout, then head on down to Google and look for 303 mods.

The only thing I wish they improved was the sequencer. It would have been possible without sacrificing the form and button locations. This has been achieved on the MKI Bassbot and a few other 303 clones.
WHY Behringer WHY???
Yes, it can make you creative using the cumbersome OG sequencer, however in 2022 it would have been so refreshing to add a more modern easy to use sequencer instead of blinking LEDs.

Dear Music People,

If you think that this is only an extended TD-3 you are so ...so wrong.
This is only 25% TD-3 (in terms of how you make patterns,tracks,etc).
The rest 85% is an honest to god FM synth capable of driving a sub oscillator with very , i mean very rude attitude!

I feel like the sensitivity (hence range) of every knob gives an extremely in-depth Saw/Square and/or SubOscillator shaping.
After about a year of use ,i can say with certainty that this machine is both for the Slow beat Lounge,ambient or even cinematic basslines (and why not leads) ,fast Hi-Octane Acid mayhem and oh, how many styles in between.
Sound sculpting feels way more detailed. Jamming and recording sessions can feel actually creativeand extremely diverse in terms of how many controls you can manipulate therefore how differently you can present your idea -even the same bassline over and over and over..
Also, you are so in love with that little red Accent Button to the right...You just dont know it yet..
I can't believe how many things can be provided by this small package.

The best clone. The MO version of the TD3 gives more option especially if you have multiple synthesizers to sync it with. The construction is plastic which makes it easy to move around. The sound is as the original one. If you are looking for that acid sound, that's your synth.

The modified version gives a lot of possibilites, not only to be in the 303 field, but connecting it as midi slave to PC or other equipment gives it way broader possibilities.

Instant mayhem with random sequence function for those who really can’t be arsed with the manual sequencing process. Very hard to tire of this. Pair it with a TR707 drum kit for early acid nonsense. Best money you can spend on analogue bass.
